CDEC expands with new office in Scotland

CDEC expands today and has announced it has opened a new office in the city of Glasgow. The move is designed to strengthen CDEC’s presence north of the border and better serve its clients in Scotland.

Toni Moss, CDEC managing director, said: “We already work with a number of businesses in Scotland, including the Scottish Parliament Building, schools and corporate clients. By opening an office in Glasgow we will be able to work more closely with existing clients while supporting our vision of growing our business in the region. By having a presence in Glasgow we will also be able to apply for localised frameworks that require a physical location in Scotland.

UK Health Show CDEC’s Meeting Spaces of the Future

CDEC will be returning to the UK Health Show in September, this time showcasing their offerings under the banner Meetings Spaces of the Future alongside Clevertouch.

Situated on stand G36, CDEC will highlight an array of innovative technology, including the Atlona Velocity Touch Panel and Gateway, Biamp Tesira sound reinforcement and RMG Networks’ Korbyt signage player. These technologies are designed to meet the requirements of modern collaborative meeting styles and improve the staff interface with IT to deliver an efficient and effective experience that enhances decision making.

“One of the key deliverables of the future meeting space is to demonstrate value for money, and enable a more flexible support model, which can be delivered from anywhere and by any device, something which could have a huge impact in the healthcare sector,” said Corporate BDM, Andrew Upton who will be at the show.

The UK Health Show runs from 25-26 September at ExCeL London. CDEC awarded ISO 27001 accreditation

CDEC has been awarded ISO 27001 accreditation. ISO 27001 was developed to “provide a model for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving an information security management system.” It includes details for documentation, management responsibility, internal audits, continual improvement, and corrective and preventive action.

Like other ISO management system standards, certification is not obligatory however it ensures best practice is being followed while reassuring customers and clients that its recommendations have been followed.

It means we can assure our customers that their data on our systems is secure, and that we take our information management seriously in the age of data breaches, GDPR and the move to Managed Services.”

Experience the Google Jamboard at UC Expo

CDEC will be making its UC Expo debut next week, partnering with BenQ to showcase the latest display and collaboration technology, including the Google Jamboard, on stand D103. In association with BenQ, who are exhibiting on stand D101, the CDEC team will demonstrate how the cloud-based Jamboard can be used to collaborate with other Jamboards, enabling teams to share content and ideas, deliver presentations and brainstorm in real time.

Toni Moss, Managing Director at CDEC, said: “We’re very much looking forward to UC Expo. It’s the first time we’ve exhibited at the show and we’re excited to tell attendees about the latest products we can offer the corporate world. Academies Show London – Join CDEC

CDEC will be exhibiting at the Academies Show at London’s ExCeL on 25th April, alongside BenQ and XSign. Visit stand 882 to see the latest display technology and cloud-based content management software enabling users to easily create, schedule and display engaging content.

Travelling back from a recent holiday highlighted to me the challenges we’re faced with on a daily basis, whether it’s in our personal lives or at work solving a problem to make our company run more efficiently, save costs and increase productivity.
