Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and face to face
  • Develop and spot opportunities to up-sell/cross-sell
  • Develop and build sales relationships by pro-actively gaining an understanding of the customer's requirements and business objective.
  • Leverage knowledge and experience to identify the correct product and solution that meets the customer's objectives.
  • Plan and organise sales leads, responding to them in a way that meets customer expectations and builds long term relationships.
  • professionally represent the company to customers, suppliers, and vendors in all activities.
  • Develop new business and strengthen relationships through a consultative sales approach.
  • Work closely and support the management team in meeting the business objectives.

CDEC Limited is an award-winning global provider of Audio-Visual Solutions, with its Head Office in Orpington Kent. We are looking for a committed enthusiastic Trainee Audio-Visual Installation Engineer to be based at our Orpington offices but who is prepared to travel UK wide with the potential to stay away.

Job Description - Reporting to the Operations Manager You will work with the Senior Audio-Visual Engineer and assist in the installation of audio-visual equipment, ensuring work is completed within the required timescale and to the highest standard.
You will receive "on the job" training as well as online tutorials and be expected to undertake CTS training.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skillset working with the Senior Engineer.
Your normal working hours will be 8 am to 4.30 pm (on-site) although due to the nature of work there may occasions when you will be required to work later or flexibly.
