CDEC is pleased to announce that it has been successful in its application to join the Digital Outcomes framework.
Part of the UK government’s Digital Marketplace initiative which aims to transform the way the public sector commissions digital and cloud services, by making it simpler, clearer and faster for them to buy what they need, Digital Outcomes is a modern framework for non-technical businesses that want to engage with the market to help them realise a strategic aim. Rather than buy an off-the-shelf service or specify a set of products, Digital Outcomes allows buyers to describe the end result they want to achieve, and it is up to the marketplace to design a solution, present it in a meaningful way to the customer and win the business.
The framework sits alongside G-Cloud, which CDEC is also a confirmed supplier on.
Spiros Andreou, service delivery manager at CDEC, said: “Digital Outcomes is a very different kind of procurement route to the ones we are used to, and it will require proactive work from the business development managers working in concert with the bid team, but it allows the full gamut of CDEC’s expertise to be brought to bear to design one-of-a-kind solutions that fit exactly to a brief issued by a customer.
“I am excited by the prospect of us getting involved with this framework as it will require imagination, commitment and daring to win business rather than ‘going in at 2% margin’. I strongly feel the framework speaks to our strengths as an agile and flexible innovator and that’s why I was prepared to smash the framework submission with a great set of responses that got us one of the very few places awarded to AV integrators.”
